Groups

Keep the table to your people.

— a closed kitchen, just for members.

An apartment building, a bike club, a foodie group, a class. Run Barter Kitchen as a private circle where only members see each other's tables — free to set up, free to run.

Yours, and closed.

Members host and join meals only within the group. Their tables don't show to anyone outside it, and outsiders can't see in.

Setup is free. Running it is free. There is nothing to buy.

Getting started

Name your group.

Pick a name and who can join — a sentence is enough. It's live in a minute, free, with you as its owner.

Bring people in.

Share one invite link, hand out one-time codes, or add members by email.

Members take it from there.

Anyone in the circle can host a table or pull up a chair.

You run it, like a group chat.

Add admins, cycle the invite code if it leaks, remove or ban someone who shouldn't be there. New groups are checked before they go live, every report is read by a person, and we can suspend or remove one that breaks the rules — you keep the guest list.
